Animal-Assisted Therapy Workshop

December 2025

We conducted our first Animal-Assisted Therapy workshop at the clinic in collaboration with Pawsitive Synergies. The session was facilitated by Gayatri and Jai, and featured Jordan, a trained therapy dog.

This interactive workshop introduced participants to safe and mindful ways of engaging with animals, while also exploring emotional expression through guided activities.

  • Included mindfulness-based practices and grounding exercises

  • Art-based activities involving interaction with the therapy dog

  • Guidance on safe approaches and building comfort around dogs

The workshop marked a meaningful step in bringing animal-assisted interventions into a clinical setting and was received with great warmth and engagement.

Valentines with Therapy Dogs

In collaboration with Paw Positive Synergies, we hosted a special Valentine’s Day workshop celebrating connection, joy, and companionship with our paw friends. The session featured therapy dogs Mishka and Mimi, who brought warmth and playfulness to the space.

Designed as an interactive and feel-good experience, the workshop invited participants to celebrate the day in a meaningful and unconventional way through bonding, creativity, and shared moments with animals.

  • Baking activity where participants prepared treats for the therapy dogs

  • Art-based activity creating personalized bandanas for the dogs

  • Opportunities for mindful interaction and connection with Mishka and Mimi

The session saw wonderful participation, with many choosing to spend their Valentine’s Day in a calming, joyful, and heartwarming environment.

Seminar for Grade 9th & 10th Students

We conducted an interactive seminar at Seven Eleven Scholastic School for students of Grades 9 and 10 as they began their new academic year.

The session focused on helping students understand the importance of mental health, build supportive habits, and navigate the evolving challenges of student life with greater awareness and confidence.

  • Building healthy routines, habits, and coping strategies

  • Open interaction encouraging questions, sharing, and participation

Students actively engaged throughout the session, making it a dynamic and meaningful exchange of ideas and experiences.
